The World We're Living In

First of all, let me send my deepest condolences and prayer to Cory Monteith's family & friends. As a former gleek I bid you good bye Mr. Monteith, may you rest in peace.

it's been a gloomy day. I mean, I heard the news about Cory and even though I don't know him personally *obviously* but I watched Glee from season 1-3, Finn Hudson was a quirky, nice, adorkable character.. and I like him as Finn, so I was completely and utterly shock when I hear the news. It was sad for such a talented actor to passed away in such a young age.

And then I read the news about Zimmerman's verdict. The case of Treyvon Martin vs. George Zimmerman. They're both men of color, black and hispanic. I don't really know who's guilty who's not, for all I know they both shared some records. But a young man had died and now, the racial tension is high. What saddened me most is we're still living in the world with a lot of racial judgement. We saw black man on deserted alley and we prepare for the worst. We saw bunch of hispanic kids and we guess which gang they are in. We saw couple men in white tunic and long black beard and we think about terrorist. It just sad. It's 2013 for god's sake, the most powerful country on earth has a color president, can we step aside our differences, our color, our judgement for better living? Can we actually do that? I don't give a fuck if you're white, black, yellow, pink, green or blue, we're citizens, living together on this beautiful mother earth and we can't live alone, so please do it with harmony and without judgement.

And then, a friend posted a picture of dead elephant in Sumatra, Indonesia. The picture was very disturbing. The elephant was murdered by some men who wanted its tusk. It has been reported that a hundred elephants had died just because their tusks are worth something as cigarette holder. They said that in Sumatra, it is cool so smoke cigarette using elephant-tusked cigarette-holder, so some people hunted elephant for that. I mean how stupid is that? You killed an innocent animal just for being cool? HOW FUCKED UP IS THAT?

That's the world I'm living. It's sad. I'm living in chaotic world. It's been a gloomy day. I hope tomorrow will be better because I'm waiting here.. waiting for the world to change. Hopefully I can contribute some of that change.. to make a world a better living.

The end of era.

It's been so long since I write, I'm sorry. The hectic and stressing days of writing a thesis has taken its toll, but thankfully of God, I finished it early on this day. so last thing to do before submit it for thesis defense is checking for technicality. Let's hope on July, I already have a Bachelor Degree.

So, moving on.
I wanna share my latest and major starstruck. Before I tell you who, I want to tell you about a month ago, around early April, my friend finally gave me a complete two season of BBC Sherlock series. So, I finally watched it and IT WAS FUCKING AWESOME.

And to continue my story about my latest major starstruck, it's obliviously about Mr. Benedict Cumberbatch

He was absolutely amazing as modern day's legendary private detective, Sherlock Holmes. I mean, literary amazing. He was flawless as Sherlock, witty, charming, and ignorantly cool *is that even a word? I dunno, don't care* ;p

So, after watching this, there's no doubt in my mind that Benedict Cumberbatch is one of the most amazing actor I ever watch. He has seriously awesome talent of acting.

And, it's like that my major starstruck on Sherlock wasn't enough, the new Star Trek movie was out and......

Mr. Cumberbatch is the main antagonist. Played Khan, the biggest villain on Star Trek, he without a doubt, played amazingly great.

It's funny because at first, I don't consider him as attractive man. I mean, yes, Benedict Cumberbatch has beautiful clear blue eyes, yes, he has chiseled cheekbones, yes, he has great body - long legs long torso broad shoulder, but, nahh just not attractive enough.

However, as a Sherlock, maaaaannnn... ask me with that sexy smooth and soothing baritone voice of yours Mr. Cumberbatch, and I'll take my clothes off. Immediately. And it's also happened with Khan, his character on Star Trek Into Darkness, he's so good and handsomely sexy as Khan, but still as Benedict Cumberbatch himself, not attractive.

Then, I watch his interviews on YouTube. Mannn, Benedict Cumberbatch as Benedict Cumberbatch, is awesome, super charming, smart and...... very attractive. He has weird sense of humor, and when I say weird it's maybe, because I'm not smart enough to understand it. He is obviously really smart in real life... and like Irene Adler on Sherlock... BRAINY IS THE NEW SEXY.

Soooo, there you are... the beginning of my latest major Starstruck. I bid you good luck and wish you keep doing what you are doing right now, Mr. Cumberbatch, which is acting because it's a pleasure watching you on screen.

Guys, you know I've been watching Girls for quite some times, and I got this favorite scene that I love very much. it's a scene when Jessa get married.

It's very funny, cause Jessa has literary just met Thomas John (Chris O'Dowd's character. *yes, I love Chris O'Dowd*) and they decided to get married, and invite their friends via text messages without really told them that they are indeed getting married. So, all of her friends were, like, totally shocked. The vow is really funny too... but the most funny thing is the wedding song.

I have new addiction.

for those of you who also watching Girls.. c'mon how awesome it is! And for those of you who hate it, yeaah.. I kinda understand why.

this TV show tell us a story about four 20something girls who try to live their lives in New York City.

the four main characters are AWFUL.

Lena Dunham's character Hannah is self-center-can't-received-criticism upcoming writer. her bestfriend is not-a-good-friend-at-all, Marnie, the materialistic girl who bored with her own boyfriend, the super cute, super nice, Charlie.

there's also Jessa, a-fucked-up-bohemian girl who like travel and do-the-fuck-anything she likes. and last, Shoshanna, the virgin-uptight-girl.

what I like about the story is.. it's honest. all the characters are bad persons and so fucked up. there's no drama that can only be on TV. all their problems and their feeling are somewhat I can related.

anndddd... Charlie!! fuck he's so cute!
